This page explains what information Felt collects, how we use it, and the limited Google sign-in scopes we request.

What Felt does

Felt helps people discover local businesses, write authentic reviews, and receive rewards from participating businesses. Businesses can use Felt to manage review links, customer rewards, and related settings.

Information we collect

When you browse Felt, we may receive basic technical information such as your device, browser, pages visited, and approximate location derived from your network. When you sign in or use the product, we collect the information needed to operate your account, including profile details you provide and activity such as reviews, saved places, rewards, and redemptions.

If you sign in with Google, Felt requests only standard sign-in scopes: openid, email, and profile. This lets us confirm your identity and receive your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. We do not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or other Google content.

How we use information

We use information to provide and secure the product, keep you signed in, show your profile and review history, deliver rewards, help businesses understand reviews and redemptions, prevent abuse, debug issues, and improve Felt.

We may use aggregated or de-identified information to understand product usage and improve the service, but we do not use Google sign-in data for advertising or sell it to data brokers.

How we share information

Reviews and profile details you choose to publish may be visible to other Felt users and to the business being reviewed. Reward and redemption activity may be shared with the relevant participating business so it can honor the reward and prevent duplicate redemption.

We use service providers to host, authenticate, analyze, and operate Felt. These providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to us. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or similar business transaction.

Data retention and choices

We keep information for as long as needed to provide Felt, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can stop using Google sign-in at any time through your Google account settings. You may also contact us to request account deletion or ask questions about your data.

Some records, such as completed reward redemptions, fraud-prevention logs, or legally required business records, may be retained after account deletion when necessary and permitted by law.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

Felt is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy as Felt evolves. If changes are material, we will provide notice appropriate to the change, such as updating this page or notifying account holders.
